Welsh Castle Quest Day 11 – Up in the Mountains!

Greetings my fellow Adventurers!

After completing another leg of our walk today, we took a drive up through the mountains of Snowdonia before going back to our cottage.

As we drove further up the mountain road the gathering clouds opened in a torrential downpour that had me pulling on raincoat every time I wanted to take a photo!

The change in weather was amazing – it was beautiful blue sky’s this morning! (We had thunder and lightning by the time we reached the cottage)

At the top of the pass we pulled over so I could climb out and take a few more photos – doing my best drowned rat impression!

For a brief second, the light improved, allowing me to pull out the little Olympus and take a few film shot – fingers crossed.

At that point we called it a day and headed back for a cup of tea…

‘Put that camera away – you look like a tourist!’

Until tomorrow my friends!

  1. I pulled up your blog at the same moment I heard raindrops pitter-pattering on the rooftop and windows here! A rare occurrence out here in the desert. Sounds like we’re both getting soaked lately. As long as the Canon camera stays safe and dry. Keep the pics coming!

    1. Lol! Well if you want rain come to Wales – It changes quite a lot here, some times from minute to minute! Although it sounds good that you’re getting some too!
The camera’s are keeping well, although we dropped my old G3 and broken the lens which was a bummer.
