Looking back…

You might not have noticed, but I’ve not been about in the blogsphere much over the past month – I hadn’t intended to take a break, it just kind of happened.

I’m hoping to start getting a few more posts out soon – but in the meantime I just wanted to say a thank you to all that have taken the time to visit, to like, and to comment on this blog – I’ve really appreciated the interaction. You’ve helped make this blog what it is.

Most of all I’d like to thank my family. When I look back over the past 12 months and think about all the adventures I’ve had and the places I’ve visited – it would all have been pointless without you all being there to join in the fun – I love you all, and especially my wife and best friend Alli.

Cheers – here’s to the next years adventures!

  1. Ahhh, thank you! It has been fun, the exploring, the adventures and especially the Wales Quest, And, of course, creating Sticky Rogers…
In fact, don’t bother making me tea, just pour me a glass of mead and we’ll join all our blogging friends in a toast to more adventures, quests and lots of medieval discovery… šŸ™‚ ā¤

  2. Hi Stuart – you are missed – but breaks are crucial – and so keep the balance – a long time ago Amy maranto (who by the way – happens to be the photographer blogger that led me to you and alli) well she said something about how the blogosphere is always here for us when we return —
And it is true – sometimes it amazes me as to how easy it is to
Find flow again- and usually I am so refreshed and that helps –
But blogging time needs to be reigned in or it becomes a black hole And just like flowers have dormant seasons –
I think it is crucial for bloggers to take breaks – how and when will vary
